In February 2023, The Netherlands Film Orchestra brings you a brand new program with music by Danny Elfman and Hans Zimmer. The Netherlands Film Orchestra is again conducted by conductor Sander Vredenborg .

Let yourself be carried away in the 2.5-hour music spectacle ‘Through Composers’s Eyes’, performed live on stage by the Netherlands Film Orchestra. The orchestra, consisting of 50 musicians and supplemented by a 20-piece choir, will be accompanied by tailor-made film images. The audience gets a unique look through the eyes of Dutch film composer Matthijs Kieboom, who explains how he, Hans Zimmer and Danny Elfman perfectly match their music to the films.

Matthijs Kieboom is a young successful Dutch composer, known for his music for the nature documentary “Wild.” He often enters into collaborations, such as with Armin van Buuren for the music at “Verliefd op Ibiza.” Since 2019, Matthijs Kieboom has been head of the film music department at the conservatory in Enschede.
